11-07-2013 U.S. Senate voted to approve the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). It would make it illegal to discriminate against LGBT individuals. The final vote was 64-32, with 10 Republicans joining Democrats. It has not passed in the House of Representatives. There are 29 states where you can be fired for being gay.


11-07-2014 U.S. District Judge Ortrie Smith ruled that Missouri’s ban on same-sex marriage violates the U.S. Constitution.
