06-07-1989 Denmark – Same-sex registered partnership law enacted. It was the world’s first law that gave same-sex couples almost the same rights as married straight couples.

06-07-2012 Washington State begins same-sex marriage ceremonies.

06-07-2014 For the first time, the 39th annual Washington D.C. Pride Parade featured a military color guard. They led the parade presenting the U.S. flag and flags of each service branch.
